KID PHENOMENON From EXILE TRIBE Releases Second Album ‘KIDS00’s’ Following SXSW Breakthrough
Japanese seven-member dance and vocal group KID PHENOMENON from EXILE TRIBE has officially released its second studio album, “KIDS00’s,” marking a major milestone in the group’s musical journey. Released on June 17, 2026, the full-length project arrives nearly a year and a half after the group’s debut album, “PHENOMENON,” and highlights the band’s continued artistic growth.
Featuring 12 tracks, the album combines previously released singles and coupling songs since the group’s fifth single, “Sparkle Summer,” while introducing three brand-new tracks created exclusively for the release. The project also serves as the musical companion to the upcoming KID PHENOMENON LIVE TOUR 2026 “KIDS00’s.”

Album Reflects New Generation
The title “KIDS00’s” draws inspiration from both the group’s name and the fact that all seven members were born in the 2000s. It symbolizes the limitless opportunities ahead as KID PHENOMENON continues pursuing its ambitions both in Japan and on the international stage.
Leading the album is the newly recorded title track, “KIDS,” which blends nostalgic boom-bap influences with Gen Z-inspired lyrics over an addictive looping beat. The combination creates a fresh sound that bridges classic hip-hop elements with modern musical influences.
Ahead of the album’s release, KID PHENOMENON unveiled a dance performance video for “KIDS” featuring choreography by internationally acclaimed choreographer Sienna Lalau, whose previous work includes collaborations with BTS, BLACKPINK, and Selena Gomez. The official music video, filmed in Los Angeles, is scheduled for release soon.
Growth Takes Center Stage
Beyond the title track, the album introduces new songs including “Neo code,” an energetic anthem centered on the future, and “BLUE,” a heartfelt track co-written by all seven members. Together, the songs explore themes of youth, perseverance, ambition, and self-discovery while highlighting the group’s musical development since its debut.
Group leader KENSUKE SOREMATSU said “KIDS” continues the 1990s-inspired atmosphere introduced in the group’s previous song “Mirror” while showcasing a more passionate and energetic sound. He added that the members’ experiences with different cultures and creative influences are reflected in the album’s diverse range of musical styles.
The release follows KID PHENOMENON’s landmark appearance at SXSW 2026 in Austin, Texas, where the group performed at one of the world’s largest creative festivals, further strengthening its ambitions of expanding internationally.
KENSUKE also thanked fans, known as SPINEL KIDS, for their continued support, expressing gratitude that the group’s music has reached listeners beyond language barriers. He said the members remain committed to delivering performances to audiences around the world as they continue pursuing their global aspirations.
“KIDS00’s” captures KID PHENOMENON at the beginning of an exciting new chapter, combining youthful energy with artistic maturity while signaling the group’s determination to establish a stronger presence on the global music scene.
