7 Filipino AI Startups To Showcase Innovations At GITEX Asia 2026
The Philippines’ startup ecosystem is steadily growing in global rankings, driven by a new generation of Filipino innovators. In the Global Innovation Index 2025 released by WIPO, the Philippines ranked 50th out of 139 economies, reflecting strong science, technology, and innovation capabilities. It also placed 3rd among lower-middle-income economies.
Filipino startups making waves at GITEX AI Asia 2026
Seven Filipino AI-powered tech startups will be featured at GITEX AI Asia 2026. GradeChum, developed by CodeChum Software Solutions, uses AI to automatically evaluate student assessments, reducing teachers’ workloads. Farmesto Technologies integrates IoT and AI for greenhouse nutrient dosing, irrigation, and climate control systems. DUON Wayfinding provides real-time indoor navigation and geo-marketing analytics.
Collo Property Technology offers a cloud-based SaaS platform for automating tenant management, billing, and collections. Cerebro delivers an integrated learning management and school administration platform for hybrid education. GreenVisions provides AI-driven farm management and monitoring tools to improve yields and reduce costs. WEHLO Resilience Technology offers localized weather and hydromet monitoring for disaster preparedness and environmental research.
Support from DOST-TAPI and global expansion efforts
The Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI), the marketing arm of the Department of Science and Technology, supports Filipino innovators with intellectual property protection, pre-commercialization services, market linkages, and commercialization assistance. These startups are grantees under DOST-TAPI programs including GALING, TECHNiCOM, and EVFP, and their participation in GITEX AI Asia 2026 is supported by the SPICE Program.
DOST-TAPI’s Roadmap 2025–2032 emphasizes internationalization, connecting Filipino startups to global innovation platforms to expand markets, strengthen partnerships, and position local technologies as competitive solutions worldwide. The seven startups will be showcased at GITEX AI Asia 2026 on April 9–10, highlighting Philippine innovation on the global stage.
