Children’s voices at the heart of the song

Pikotaro said witnessing the struggles and victories of children fighting pediatric cancer deeply moved him. He described seeing moments that felt miraculous and wanting to gather those voices into a track that celebrates life.

He recalled that the phrase “Life is meant to be enjoyed” resonated most strongly. That message anchors the song, with additional voices and sentiments layered throughout the production.

The accompanying music video combines his playful performance style with a message of perseverance and positivity. Bright visuals and energetic choreography reinforce the call to live fully and joyfully.

Prefecture Songs expand regional spotlight

Tottemo Release 80.8 (07) also features the second chapter of his Prefecture Songs series, highlighting Japan’s Kyushu–Okinawa region. The tracks celebrate Fukuoka, Saga, Miyazaki, Kumamoto, Nagasaki, Oita, Kagoshima, and Okinawa, adding a regional tribute to the project.

By pairing charitable inspiration with cultural celebration, Pikotaro’s Jinseimocchatte underscores both resilience and community pride. The release encourages listeners to laugh, shout, and embrace life wholeheartedly, echoing the spirit of the children who inspired it.
