A new force is entering Japan’s music scene. STARGLOW, a five-member dance and vocal ensemble created through BMSG’s audition project THE LAST PIECE, has officially debuted with their first single, “Star Wish.”

Far from a standard boy band, STARGLOW brings sharp musical instincts, striking visuals, and effortless charisma that resonates both on stage and off. Comprised of RUI, TAIKI, KANON, GOICHI, and ADAM, the group arrives with momentum, signaling a fresh generation of J-pop talent.

Rising stars with pre-debut impact

Before their official debut, STARGLOW had already made waves with “Moonchaser,” their pre-debut single that entered the Billboard JAPAN Hot 100 at #7 in September 2025. That early success highlighted the group’s combination of skill, presence, and ambition. Now, with “Star Wish,” STARGLOW steps forward officially, sharpening their artistic identity and carving a clear path for their future.

The lead track was co-written by SKY-HI along with Los Angeles–based songwriter and producer David Arkwright, a two-time Grammy nominee, and solo artist Will Jay. SKY-HI penned lyrics that explore the intensity of fleeting, all-or-nothing love, expressing longing for a moment to last and devotion to dreams finally within reach.

Debut single channels emotion and ambition

Star Wish” balances refined production with emotional depth, offering STARGLOW a platform to showcase each member’s vibrant vocals and individual strengths. The track’s soaring soundscape conveys determination and aspiration, inviting listeners to reach for a distant, shining star alongside the group.

STARGLOW’s debut is not just an introduction—it is a statement. With “Star Wish,” they emerge ready to capture hearts, command attention, and establish a distinct presence in the J-pop world. This is the first glow of a group with ambition, talent, and a trajectory aimed skyward.
