Da-iCE launches new era with 9th album ‘TERMiNaL’
Da-iCE has officially launched a new chapter with the release of their 9th full-length album, “TERMiNaL”, their first in over a year. The album positions the five-member group for a bold reintroduction while marking a decisive step forward in their evolving career.
“TERMiNaL” serves as both an entry point for new listeners who discovered Da-iCE through hits like “Star Mine スターマイン” and “I wonder” and a reset for the group themselves. Following the EntranCE Tour, the album reflects a period of recalibration, building on the group’s previous work while charting a clear path for what comes next.

A mix of hits and fresh sounds
The album features previously released tracks, including the funk-driven “FUNKEYS” featuring Akiko Wada, the TV Asahi drama theme “Black and White,” and “Nonfictions ノンフィクションズ,” the 2025 Summer High School Baseball Support Song for Nettō Kōshien. These familiar songs are joined by six brand-new tracks: “TERMINAL,” “OLD meets NEW,” “Try&Groove,” “Before the Lullaby ララバイの前に,” “That you know?,” and “Past days,” each adding a new dimension to Da-iCE’s musical identity.
Several tracks, including “OLD meets NEW,” “Try&Groove,” “Before the Lullaby ララバイの前に,” and “That you know?” showcase a fresh creative approach, with members forming unit pairings and co-writing the songs themselves. The album also includes a bonus track, a newly rearranged version of “Live goes on” from their 2018 album “BET,” re-recorded to reflect the group’s growth ahead of their 15th anniversary year.
Momentum builds with title track and tour
The teaser for the album’s title track, “TERMINAL,” is now available on YouTube. Co-produced by members Taiki Kudo and Yudai Ohno alongside rising trackmaker MONJOE, the dance-driven anthem blends terminal-inspired sounds and imagery, capturing the album’s theme of departure, transition, and renewal. The full music video is set to follow.
As Da-iCE prepares for their nationwide Da-iCE ARENA TOUR 2026 – TERMiNaL –, the album acts as a clear statement of the group’s current identity. “TERMiNaL” signals forward momentum, showcasing both confidence and clarity as the group continues to expand their musical reach and artistic vision.
