A recent global study by digital entertainment platform JB identified the world’s top cities for nightlife. Barcelona, Spain, leads the rankings thanks to its vibrant club scene, late closing hours, and affordable drinks. The research also highlighted Yerevan as the safest city for going out and Bali as the most budget-friendly destination for evening entertainment.

The study evaluated nightlife across international cities using seven key factors, including safety, the number of bars and pubs, nighttime activities, average dinner and drink costs, venue ratings, and typical closing times. Each city received a Nightlife Index score from 0 to 100, with higher scores reflecting a stronger overall nightlife experience for locals and tourists.
