Gibson has formally announced the Gibson Generation Group (G3) Class of 2027, expanding its legacy of supporting rising talent in music. The initiative continues the brand’s mission of nurturing young musicians through a two-year, high-impact artist development program.

G3 is designed to empower emerging artists with mentorship, performance opportunities, social media promotion support, instrument access, and professional industry coaching. Guided by experienced artists including mentors Emily Wolfe and Toby Lee, the musicians will receive songwriting training, content development support, and exposure through global marketing campaigns.

This year’s G3 lineup features standout young talent from across the world:

Olly Pearson (United Kingdom) – A 12-year-old guitar sensation whose viral performances and festival appearances have earned millions of views and multiple endorsements.

Russell Watson (Southern California) – A driven young metal guitarist who channels personal resilience into his music while exploring songwriting and production.

Ludovick Tshiswaka (Brazil) – A 13-year-old multi-instrumentalist recognized for his versatile bass, guitar, and keyboard skills and contributions to Grammy-winning projects.

Melis Ogut (Türkiye) – A 16-year-old guitarist blending blues rock and jazz fusion influences while pursuing global music education and artistic expression.

Zixuan “Angela” Li (China) – A 10-year-old fingerstyle guitarist and multi-competition champion celebrated for original compositions and international performances.

Jayden English (Seattle, WA) – A powerhouse young guitarist and vocalist shaped by rock legends and mentored by industry icons through major live events.
