Muntinlupa launches third year of Pamaskong Handog program to support families
The City Government of Muntinlupa has officially kicked off the distribution of its Pamaskong Handog, marking the third consecutive year of the Christmas support program for families across the city.
Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon said the local government has prepared packages for around 138,000 families, with distribution beginning on November 4 and set to conclude within the month.
Each Pamaskong Handog package contains holiday staples including spaghetti sauce, pasta, elbow macaroni, champorado mix, arroz caldo, canned corned beef, meat loaf, corned tuna, fruit cocktail, and three kilos of rice.

Reusable storage boxes highlight sustainability push
This year, the city introduced reusable storage boxes to hold the items, giving families a sustainable and practical container they can use beyond the holidays.
Mayor Biazon emphasized the program’s purpose of strengthening community bonds and ensuring every household feels the Christmas spirit, especially during challenging times.
Muntinlupa reinforces tradition of community care
“For three years now, we’ve made sure that every family in Muntinlupa feels the spirit of Christmas,” Biazon said. “This isn’t just a package—it’s a symbol of care, unity, and our shared sense of community.”
The initiative continues to reflect Muntinlupa’s commitment to supporting residents through programs grounded in compassion and togetherness during the holiday season.
