Talkdesk opens India office to boost global innovation and AI automation

Talkdesk has expanded its global presence with the opening of a new office in Bengaluru, India. The move strengthens the company’s engineering capabilities and establishes a key innovation hub in Asia.
The Bengaluru site focuses on product and engineering, supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy in the Asia-Pacific region. It will play a critical role in advancing Talkdesk’s Customer Experience Automation (CXA) vision.
A major step for global expansion
Sridhar Gaddipati, vice president of engineering and India office site leader, said the new location goes beyond a standard workplace. “This location is not just an office; it’s an innovation hub for our Product and Engineering teams, fueling the core of our CXA platform. We are expanding our global reach, and this presence helps us better serve the needs of our global customer base while strengthening our foundation for continued success,” he said.
The investment allows Talkdesk to tap into India’s deep talent pool. The company plans to expand hiring locally to accelerate product development and innovation.
Strengthening technology through CXA
Talkdesk CXA, launched in June 2025, integrates AI agents to automate complex workflows across front- and back-office operations. Instead of adding layers to existing CX tools, it replaces manual coordination with a unified system designed for faster, more precise automation.
Chief technology officer Munil Shah said the India office reflects the company’s vision. “By strengthening our product and engineering teams in a vital market, we ensure we keep pushing the boundaries of what is possible with AI to help enterprises solve complex customer problems with speed and precision,” he said.
India is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. By establishing a permanent base in Bengaluru, Talkdesk expands its ability to innovate and offer regionally compliant solutions to customers in Asia and beyond.
