YGG Play Summit returns to Manila in November 2025
Yield Guild Games (YGG) is set to bring back the YGG Play Summit, the world’s largest player-focused Web3 gaming event, on Nov. 18-22, 2025, at SMX Aura in Bonifacio Global City, Manila.
The Philippines, long considered a hub of crypto gaming, will again take center stage as the Summit reimagines the city as the “City of Play” — a cyberpunk-inspired pop-up metropolis designed to capture the spirit of gaming culture. Attendees ranging from players and creators to developers and investors will explore the future of play through new games, tools, and interactive experiences.
“Through play, there are endless possibilities,” said Mench Dizon, YGG Pilipinas country head. “That’s what the ‘City of Play’ is all about — an urban wonderland where the world will gather to experience the essence of play, right here in Manila.”
Four districts bring the City of Play to life
The event will feature four themed districts with unique offerings. The Player District will serve as a hub for Web3 titles such as Axie Infinity, Pixels, and Aurory, while also offering exclusive merchandise. The Degen District caters to casual players exploring lite games and crypto trading, including playable titles like LOL Land.
The Skill District, backed by Sui Foundation and YGG Pilipinas’ Metaversity, will provide educational workshops, mentorship, and career opportunities for digital talent. Meanwhile, The Arena will host esports tournaments for Vibes TCG and Parallel TCG, with major prize pools attracting top international competitors.
Adding prestige to the weeklong festivities, the GAM3 Awards by GAM3S.GG will return on Nov. 21, 2025, at Samsung Hall. The awards show, which drew more than a million votes and 60 million impressions in 2024, honors achievements such as Game of the Year and Content Creator of the Year.
Expanded experiences for fans and VIPs
Beyond gaming, the Summit will offer attendees a mix of social and cultural activities. VIP ticket holders will enjoy curated dining, social events, and the POB Crawl — a bar-hopping tour of Makati’s nightlife district. The package also includes sports and entertainment activities such as pickleball and karaoke nights.
