NGA 911 Philippines joins NENA to advance next-gen emergency response nationwide
NGA 911 Philippines, the local subsidiary of NGA 911 LLC from California, has officially become a member of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA)—a major step in the country’s public safety modernization.
NENA is a globally recognized nonprofit that sets high standards for emergency services in the United States, Canada, and worldwide. Working alongside the European Emergency Number Association (EENA), NENA ensures interoperability, efficiency, and innovation in emergency response systems. With its new membership, NGA 911 Philippines is now aligned with these international benchmarks, reinforcing its commitment to delivering world-class emergency services.
Revolutionizing emergency response in the Philippines
NGA 911 Philippines has been instrumental in upgrading 911 systems across several local government units (LGUs), including Cebu City, Alaminos in Pangasinan, Cagayan De Oro City, Morong in Rizal, Bustos in Bulacan, and Mambajao in Camiguin. These LGUs have reported marked improvements in emergency response times and coordination since implementing NGA 911’s technology.
In June 2025, both NGA 911 LLC and NGA 911 Philippines joined the NENA 2025 Long Beach Conference in the United States. There, they showcased how NG911 can modernize emergency communication through real-time mapping, GPS tracking, multimedia integration, and seamless coordination between dispatchers and first responders. Among the featured case studies was the transformation of Logan County’s dispatch center into a fully integrated next-gen emergency hub.
By adopting NENA standards, NGA 911 Philippines empowers LGUs with cutting-edge solutions that go beyond traditional voice calls. The technology enables the public to send texts, photos, and videos, enhancing data sharing and location accuracy—leading to faster, smarter responses in crisis situations.
