Christian Bautista signs with Sony Music Philippines after award-winning streak
Christian Bautista continues to chart an extraordinary path in 2025, signing an exclusive recording contract with Sony Music Philippines, capping off a series of recent accolades and career milestones.
Following his renewed Kapuso network contract and recognition at the Telly Awards and The Outstanding Filipinos in America (TOFA), Asia’s Romantic Balladeer secured two more Collision Awards for Matching Outfits—Silver Winner and Audience Choice in the Beauty, Fashion & Lifestyle category. Now, he adds a major music industry move to his banner year.
The exclusive contract was signed this July at Sony Music Philippines’ Ortigas office, with General Manager Roslyn Pineda, Deputy GM Maan Atienza, and NYMA COO Kat Bautista present.
“This is such an exciting time—2025 has already been incredible,” said Christian. “I’m deeply grateful to the Sony Music Philippines team for their warm welcome, and to my management at NYMA for their unwavering guidance and for constantly opening new doors. Even after more than 20 years in the industry, it’s amazing to discover that there is still so much more to explore.”

Sony Music Philippines sees the partnership as an opportunity to take Bautista’s music further across Southeast Asia.

Christian recently visited Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia’s office, suggesting regional collaborations in the works. While details of upcoming releases remain under wraps, fans can expect new music soon.
