The “What’s NEXT” conference directly targets content creators, journalists, media practitioners, and science communicators, offering a fresh, immersive approach to how scientific breakthroughs and innovations are shared with the public. It promises to shift from traditional press release strategies to active collaboration and storytelling.

Empowering a new wave of science storytellers

“In the past, we relied on the usual ways: sending out press releases, hoping for a pickup. But today marks a new beginning,” said Atty. Marion Ivy D. Decena of DOST-TAPI. “We wanted to open the doors wide—to bring media professionals into the room, into the conversation—as co-creators, not just observers.”

Attendees of “What’s NEXT” will receive front-row access to stories behind global innovations and technologies featured at PHILIPPiNEXT. This includes narratives on emerging trends, societal impacts, and untold breakthroughs, helping bridge the gap between science and the general public.

Exclusive merchandise and curated media kits will also be distributed to participating media. Due to limited slots, registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
