Wild West General Store Simulator demo debuts in Steam Next Fest with rootin’-tootin’ frontier gameplay

SunDust, the game label under German publisher Toplitz Productions, has announced that the demo for Wild West General Store Simulator is officially live as part of the ongoing Steam Next Fest.
Players can now saddle up for a nostalgic journey to the Old West, where they take charge of a dusty general store nestled in the heart of a ghost town. In this shopkeeping simulation, you’ll stock shelves with goods ranging from baked beans to tools while keeping an eye on supply, demand, and profit margins.

Test your skills in a gritty economic showdown
The demo gives players a taste of the frontier hustle with 25 different goods to manage and sell, while navigating the unpredictable whims of customers and a full-blown in-game economy. Whether it’s meat shortages or a surprise boom in flour demand, you’ll need to adapt quickly to keep your store in business.
As your business grows, you’ll unlock fancier stock and build a name for yourself. You can go it alone or hire a trusty sidekick to manage checkout or restocking. If you’re feeling lucky, you might even take part in the Tomahawk Tossin’ Contest to win exclusive licenses—or spend hard-earned coins on mystery crates filled with valuable loot or rarities.
For those who want a tougher challenge, the “Realistic Prices” mode brings in the grit of real frontier economics, where every penny counts and profit isn’t guaranteed.
