BRAVE CF 94 Weigh-In Results: Title Fight Official, Lapilus Hits Target on Second Attempt

BRAVE Combat Federation is set for a historic night in Geneva, Switzerland, as the promotion completes official weigh-ins for BRAVE CF 94, which takes place Saturday, May 17. The organization’s debut in Switzerland marks its 36th country visited and is part of its global expansion initiative, “The Year of the BRAVE.”

Headlining the card is the BRAVE CF Heavyweight World Championship bout between reigning champion Pavel Dailidko and unbeaten American grappler Odie Delaney. Both men hit the scales under the 120.2kg championship limit, with Dailidko at 111.0kg and Delaney at 114.0kg, making the title bout official.

Co-Main Event: Lapilus Recovers, Hugo Steady

France’s Damien Lapilus missed the 66.2kg featherweight limit on his first attempt, registering 67.7kg, but successfully trimmed down to 67.5kg on his second try during the allowed grace period. His opponent, Brazilian debutant and BJJ star Victor Hugo, weighed in clean at 67.6kg. The bout is confirmed to proceed.

Weight Misses: Boughanem and Ruart Penalized

The most notable weight issue came from Muay Thai legend Youssef Boughanem, who weighed in at 73.2kg, exceeding the 72kg catchweight limit for his bout against Dimitris Moirotsos. Boughanem failed to make weight on a second try and will forfeit a portion of his purse.

Kevin Ruart also missed the 77kg catchweight limit, weighing 77.1kg. His opponent, Ahmad Labban, made weight exactly at 77.0kg, and the fight will proceed with a similar purse penalty imposed on Ruart.

All Other Fighters Make Weight

Other key matchups include Mansur Abdurzakov vs. Alex Lohoré, Yusup Magomedov vs. Tornike Gigauri, and two lightweight bouts featuring Karol Arteaga vs. Magomed-Emin Dadaev and Kevin Quiroz vs. Dejan Ovuka—all of whom successfully made weight.
