Christian Bautista renews ties with GMA Network, expressing gratitude for continued support
Award-winning singer, actor, and host Christian Bautista has officially renewed his ties with GMA Network, marking more than 11 years of loyalty as a Kapuso since joining the network in 2013. On May 6, 2025, the multi-platinum artist sealed the deal during a special contract signing held at Studio 6 of the GMA Network Center.
Dubbed “Asia’s Romantic Balladeer,” Christian expressed heartfelt gratitude during the event, saying, “GMA, you gave me a home, a platform, and the space to keep growing. Hindi niyo lang ako tinulungan as an artist—you remind me of what else I’m capable of.”

The contract signing was attended by GMA President and CEO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., EVP and CFO Felipe S. Yalong, and Entertainment Group OIC and VP for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy. Also in attendance were key executives including Joseph T. Francia, Janine Piad-Nacar, Gigi Santiago-Lara, and Darling de Jesus-Bodegon, underscoring the network’s strong support for Christian’s continued journey.
Joining Christian was his wife, business partner, and manager Kat Ramnani-Bautista, Chief Operating Officer of NYMA, who shared how proud she is of his lasting impact and growth. “Christian continues to prove that he still has so much more to offer,” Kat shared.

To cap off the emotional event, Christian serenaded the room with his iconic hit “The Way You Look at Me,” a gesture that moved attendees and symbolized his deep gratitude to the network and his fans.
In his speech, he thanked NYMA for showing new sides of him—“the funnier side, the lighter side, the more human side”—that resonate with today’s audiences. He also extended appreciation to the media and his fans, the “Christian Friends,” for their unwavering support: “Thank you for growing with me.”
