Digital Art Awards 2025 unveils platform for AI and generative artists in London

HOFA Gallery, in partnership with PhillipsX, has officially launched the Digital Art Awards 2025, a groundbreaking initiative recognizing artists at the forefront of innovation in digital media. Set to become a major event on London’s spring art calendar, the inaugural awards celebrate creative excellence across emerging fields including AI art, generative practices, immersive installations, and experiential media.

The awards ceremony will be held on May 15, 2025, followed by a public exhibition at Phillips in London from May 16 to May 22. The showcase will feature category winners and select finalists, offering audiences a dynamic view into the evolving frontier of digital art.

A New Era of Recognition for Digital Artists

The Digital Art Awards 2025 aims to elevate the cultural significance of digital art and celebrate artists redefining visual culture through human-machine collaboration and algorithmic aesthetics. The awards include four main categories:

  • Still Image

  • Moving Image

  • Innovation

  • Experiential

A total of 20 international finalists will be selected for their visionary contributions to the medium. Each category winner will receive a $10,000 USDC commission to create a new work, with all selections made by a panel of experts in digital art and technology innovation.

The Digital Art Awards expand on the success of SPACES, HOFA’s exhibition series presented via PhillipsX, which champions artists at the nexus of art, science, and technology. Winners will gain future opportunities to present new works at fairs, exhibitions, and institutional venues.
