Engineering Congress 2025: A Landmark Event in Engineering and Innovation

The 20th Engineering Congress (EC), held on February 23, 2025, at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), delivered two days of groundbreaking discussions, fierce competition, and career development opportunities.

Organized by the Civil Engineering Executive Organization (CEO), the event brought together engineering students, professionals, and industry leaders to exchange knowledge and explore advancements in engineering and technology.

Engineering Seminar Explores Innovations in Geotechnical Engineering

The congress began with the Engineering Seminar, which focused on geotechnical advancements under the theme:

“Unearthing Breakthroughs: Remoulding Geosynthetics and Urban Development in Transcending Advanced Geotechnical Technology and Interdisciplinary Research.”

Industry leaders and researchers discussed the latest developments in geotechnical materials, urban resilience, and sustainable infrastructure, emphasizing how these innovations shape the future of engineering in the Philippines.

Executives’ Challenge XX: The Nation’s Best Engineering Students Compete

The second day of the congress hosted the highly anticipated Executives’ Challenge XX, a national intercollegiate engineering science quiz featuring 48 teams from 26 universities and colleges.
