LG India’s K-Pop Contest sparks inspiration among India’s youth

The All India K-POP Contest has become one of the most anticipated events on every Indian K-Pop fan’s calendar. This year’s contest saw participation from 2,496 aspiring artists who auditioned online, making it one of the largest K-Pop talent hunts ever conducted outside Korea.

The contest included multiple stages:

  • Regional Tournaments held in cities like Kohima, Chennai, Mumbai, and Delhi.
  • Semi-Finals featuring the top 27 contenders judged by K-Pop experts, including Yoonhyeok and Jaemin from NTX.
  • A Grand Finale, showcasing electrifying performances by globally renowned K-Pop bands like LUN8 and NTX.

The journey from auditions to the finale was intense and inspiring, offering opportunities like trips to South Korea and state-of-the-art audio equipment to help budding artists launch their musical careers.

Judging and Showstopping Performances

The semi-finals were judged by an esteemed panel, including NTX members, Ha Minwoo, Jay Kim, Ahn Hanbyeol, and Sushil Chhetri. These industry professionals ensured a fair and competitive process while also inspiring contestants with their expertise.

The semi-finals closed with an unforgettable live performance by NTX, who energized a crowd of 2,500 fans with their dynamic choreography and captivating music.

From there, 12 finalists, including two LG Wild Card entries, advanced to the grand finale, competing for the ultimate K-Pop crown in India.
