VK Blanka releases new album ‘Knightclub’ after three-year hiatus
Japanese musician VK Blanka has thrilled fans by releasing his first new album in nearly three years, “Knightclub,” on Wednesday, September 4. This album marks his return to the music scene following the 2021 release of “FATE.”
“Knightclub” features previously released singles like “Fortress,” which served as the theme song for the TV Asahi drama “The Woman of S.R.I. (Season 24),” and “Never Run,” a track inspired by the beats and arrangements VK Blanka experienced during his North American tour in February. The album also includes brand new songs such as “Yomigaeri (with Noriyuki Makihara & Ayaka),” a collaboration with fellow artists Noriyuki Makihara and Ayaka, and “Old Rivals [A Self-Cover of ‘Rivals!’],” a fresh take on his song “Rivals!” that gained popularity as part of the “Hypnosis Mic” multimedia project.
The album’s special formats come with exclusive video content, including the music video and behind-the-scenes footage for “Never Run,” the lyric video for “Fortress,” and live performance footage from “Vicke Blanka” presents RAINBOW ROAD -TEN-‘, a concert held at Festival Hall in Osaka on May 4, 2024.
VK Blanka’s “Knightclub” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
