VK Blanka announces solo tour of Latin America, starting July 2024
Japanese musician VK Blanka has announced a solo tour of Latin America, titled ‘VK Blanka Latin America Tour 2024,’ which will kick off in July 2024.
VK Blanka will perform in São Paulo at Anime Friends 2024, one of the largest anime conventions in Latin America. The event runs from Thursday, July 18, through Sunday, July 21, with the Japanese artist’s performance set for July 20.
After this, solo shows in Santiago, Chile on Wednesday, July 24, and in Mexico City, Mexico, on Sunday, July 28, will follow.
Tickets will start to go on sale at 9:00 a.m. (CST) / 11:00 a.m. (CLT) on Friday, June 7th.
VK Blanka’s songs have been played over 500 million times on music streaming services around the world, and he has found great success both within Japan and overseas.
His first solo tour of North America included a total of nine shows, starting with a performance in Vancouver on January 31 and ending with a show in New York on February 20.
Formerly known as Vicke Blanka, he provided the opening theme tune for Season 10 of the anime series “Black Clover.” The song has surpassed 220 million plays and continues to rank in Spotify’s Top 10 chart of songs by Japanese artists played by overseas users since 2020.
Meanwhile, his song, “Snake,” showcases his uniquely global pop style, setting dance floors ablaze during his North American tour.
With such a strong reputation in Japan and on the global stage, it will be exciting to see how VK Blanka’s performances are received when he hits the stages in Latin America for the first time this summer.
After this, he will return to Japan for the VK Blanka HALL TOUR 2024. The tour begins on September 27 at the Niterra HALL VILLAGE HALL in Aichi Prefecture, followed by dates in Sapporo, Osaka, Tokyo, and Miyagi Prefecture. The final show will be on December 8 at the FUKUOKA CONVENTION CENTER MAIN HALL.
