Young PH pool master Regalario joining Vandal 10-Ball tourney
PH young pool master Bernie Regalario is setting his sight in competing in the 1st Vandal 10-Ball Amateur Handicapping Billiard Tournament on May 17 following his successful stint at the recent Battle of the Champion 10 ball event last January.
“I hope to do well in the 1st Vandal 10-Ball Amateur Handicapping Billiard Tournament,” said the 14-year-old Regalario, an incoming Grade 9 student at Arcadio Santos High School in Paranaque City.
Regalario is a member of the Wilde Blu Junior Pool Team backed up by Mr. Nino Lopez.
Other members of Wilde Blu Junior Pool Team are Dexter Barnido, Jalil P. Noche, Hanz Nicos Blente, Rey Calanao and Paul Kenneth Arpilleda, son of 1997 Jakarta Southeast Asian Games 9-ball gold medallist Victor Arpilleda.
The 1st Vandal 10-Ball Amateur Handicapping Billiard Tournament will be held at the Vandal Sports Bar, 107 Mother Ignacia Avenue, Quezon City. A P70,000 and a trophy await the champion in the Race to 5, Double elimination, rack your own format.
The second placer will get P30,000 plus a trophy, third placer P15,000 plus a trophy and the fourth placer P8,000. Fifth to 8th placers will earn P3,000 each while the ninth to 16th placers will go home with P1,500 each.
