Ayala-led water and used water concessionaire Manila Water conducted a series of dialogues with its customers and stakeholders in the East Zone concession area as part of its continuing efforts to improve the delivery of services to its customers.

Manila Water said the dialogues and exchanges are important channels for customers to be informed about the completed, ongoing and planned projects and programs of the company that are meant to provide them with greater access to clean and potable water as well as sewerage and sanitation services.

Residents, homeowners, community leaders and officials of local government units were present during the series of dialogues conducted in Makati, Taguig, Pateros, Marikina, Antipolo, San Juan, Pasig, Mandaluyong, Manila and Quezon City, and the province of Rizal, respectively.

In the session conducted in Pateros City, Mayor Miguel “Ike” Ponce III expressed his gratitude to Manila Water for the latter’s efforts not only in providing clean and potable water to the municipality but also commended the East Zone concessionaire’s programs on corporate social responsibility such as the provision of drinking fountains and wash areas in public schools. “Our fruitful partnership with Manila Water has helped Pateros in its development efforts as we strive to become a better city,” Ponce said.

Manila Water believes that regular and consistent dialogues and sessions with the communities and the local governments are important in getting customer and stakeholder feedback that will redound to a more improved service delivery to customers.
