Bail revoked for man charged in crash deaths of 3 people
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A man free on bail after being charged with causing an alcohol-related crash that killed three young people in central New York is back in jail.
An Onondaga County judge revoked 31-year-old Anthony Saccone’s bail Monday, a day after sheriff’s deputies charged him with reckless driving and drinking in a motor vehicle on a Syracuse-area road.
Saccone was released on $500,000 bond after being charged with murder and aggravated vehicular homicide for the February crash near Onondaga Community College that killed three people ages 18, 19 and 20. Two of the victims were students at the college and the third was a former student.
Authorities say Saccone drove through a red light at 80 mph and broadsided the other car.
It couldn’t be learned from prosecutors Monday if he has a lawyer for the latest charges. (AP) Photo by 911 Bail Bonds Las Vegas
