Natalie Portman, Chris Pine To Grace ‘Angie Tribeca’ Season 3 On TBS [WATCH TEASER]

Hollywood movie star Natalie Portman is going to get her shot at a comedy series. The actress has just agreed to guest star on “Angie Tribeca,” which will return for a third season on TBS this April.

Aside from the Oscar-winning actress, “Angie Tribeca” will also have other big-named stars as guests when it premieres on April 10 on the cable network. These include Chris Pine, Michelle Dockery, Constance Zimmer, Michaela Watkins, Niecy Nash, Ed Helms, Heather Graham, Rob Huebel, Mary McCormack, Rachel Dratch and Jean Smart.

The series stars Rashida Jones a New York cop. The show also has Hayes MacArthur, Jere Burns, Deon Cole and Andrée Vermeulen in the main cast. “Angie Tribeca” is a comedy like no other on TV today and its humor can be likened to the “Naked Gun” movies.

The show was created by the husband and wife team of Nancy and Steve Carell with Ira Ungerleider as its executive producer. Deadline has the synopsis on what fans can expect in “Angie Tribeca” Season 3.

“Tribeca, Geils and colleague Tanner (Deon Cole) will track an animal rights activist-turned-serial killer outside of their jurisdiction to New Orleans, New York, Miami, outer space and Universal Studios Hollywood. Co-stars Jere Burns (Lieutenant Atkins) and Andrée Vermeulen (Dr. Scholls) are also in play, tackling key societal issues — dating after divorce and gambling addiction, respectively.”
