Chopra plays a budding CIA agent in “Quantico” and action scenes is part of her job and expected from her. The actress, however, is used to being physical and has done movies that showed her as an actively strong woman.
More than playing women characters, Chopra has expressed being more worried for being an Indian actress. “The global entertainment industry is ready to see an Indian actor in the lead, as we haven’t seen one before – be it in television or films,” she said. “I was worried about it as it had not happened with any Indian actress,” Chopra added.
Chopra landed fame when she won in a beauty pageant. Leading “Quantico” has been another feather on her cap as she leads a cast with a wide reach and potential, dispelling all her fears about carrying a show as a woman of color.
