‘High School Musical’ Reunion? Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale Release Duet

Best friend Vanessa Hudgens and Ashely Tisdale, who met on the set of “High School Musical” have released a new music video of their collaboration. The HSM stars performed an version of Elle King’s “Ex’ & Oh’s” with an acoustic guitar. Tisdale’s husband, Chris French, helped with the music arrangement.

The video has been shared on YouTube. The two reflect that this is actually their very first duet even as they starred in “High School Musical” for its three installments. Tisdale told the audience that they have never sang together on the shows at all.

Thrilled about the duet, the video already has over three million views and counting. Fans in the comments say that they have missed the two together and should consider doing more music.

Vanessa Hudgens played the goody gal Gabriela on “High School Musical.” Ashley Tisdale was her rival, Sharpay. But the two characters eventually ended up becoming friends. In real life, Hudgens and Tisdale remained super close even as “High School Musical” ended over 10 years ago.
