‘The Voice’ Judge Adam Levine Welcomes Daughter Dusty Rose With Wife Behati Prinsloo
“The Voice” judge Adam Levine is now officially a dad. His wife, Behati Prinsloo, gave birth to their first child on Wednesday, Sept. 21. They named their daughter angel Dusty Rose, who is said to look a lot like her mother.
E! Online reports that Adam was in the delivery room when the baby arrived. “They both cried when she was born,” said a source. Both mother and child are doing fine after the delivery.
Adam Levine announced his wife’s pregnancy in March and then also told his followers that they were expecting a girl. “The Voice” coach, who is also supposed to be in the middle of his tour with his band Maroon 5, has taken a break from work as the couple waited for the baby’s arrival.
Throughout the pregnancy, the first time parents document the Behati’s growing belly on their social media accounts. Adam Levine earlier shared to People that he’s not nervous about becoming a father.
However, he also acknowledged that his stand might change once the baby comes. “I’ll probably be a lot more freaked out when I see the baby.” The new dad is planning to have more kids with his wife, “than is socially responsible.”
Meanwhile, “The Voice” has returned for its newest season on NBC this week. There will still be a couple more episodes tackling the audition rounds. Adam Levine should be ready to return by the time the coaching begins for the battle rounds.
