‘Daredevil’ Star Charlie Cox Is Going to be a Dad for the First Time!

“Daredevil” star Charlie Cox has an upcoming role in real life. His partner, Samantha Thomas, who works as a producer on “Agents of the SHIELD,” is pregnant with their first child together.  The actor broke the news to fans during the Toronto Fan Expo and said that his girlfriend is actually “very pregnant.

Thomas couldn’t go with the “Daredevil” star to the event because of her condition, but she has asked Cox to put in word for Joe Quesada, the chief creative officer of Marvel. “She said to me before I left was, ‘If you see Joe, you have to convince him to do a Baby Daredevil drawing for us,'” shared Cox, per Female First. Charlie Cox is going to welcome his newborn baby in mid-September.

Before meeting Samantha, Cox reportedly dated Kate Mara from “House of Cards,” Lynn Collins from “True Blood” and Janet Montgomery from “Salem,” per Bustle.

Aside from expecting his first-born soon, Charlie Cox has had quite a busy year with work on “The Defenders,” which is due in 2017 on Netflix. “Daredevil” has also received a third season renewal on the streaming site.

It’s been a busy summer for Charlie, who has seen ‘Daredevil’ – in which he plays the titular character – renewed for a third series, with the new episodes set to air in 2017.
