Former supermodel and host of “America’s Top Model,” Tyra Banks is embarking on another milestone in her career. Banks has been chosen to become a guest lecturer in a business class in Stanford. She will teach a course on “Building and Extending your Personal Brand.”

The class, which will become available in May, will be held for two weeks and Banks will be guided by Stanford faculty staff Allison Kluger. According to Market Watch, Banks promises her class will be fun and engaging. However, the supermodel won’t mind bringing in the toughness if needed. “If I see somebody not paying attention, I’m gonna call on them,” Banks joked.

Kluger, who has been teaching management and strategic communications to MBA students, believe Banks would contribute a lot to the students. Banks is one star who has capitalized on her brand really well. She would be a perfect instructor for the course.

At least 25 students are expected to be taught by Banks in her class, which has already provided their first assignment. Apparently, the students are being asked by their new professor to prepare a video introduction, wher they must also discuss what they want for their brand.

Banks is not the first celebrity to branch on to the academe in recent months. Angelina Jolie is teaching a women’s class at the London Business School, while Matthew McConaughey is going to teach a film class at the University of Texas, Austin, his Alma Mater.
