Militants to hold indignation rally for bungling PDAF case vs. Napoles and Gov. Lanete
Members of the militant Bukluran ng Manggagawang Pilipino (BMP) and multi-sectoral coalition Sanlakas shall hold an indignation rally before the Justice department for bungling the PDAF cases against Janet Lim Napoles against Masbate governor Rizalina Seachon-Lanete.
The groups blame the Department of Justice particularly administration candidate for Senator Leila De Lima for her incompetence as she held the post of Secretary at the height of the pork barrel scam. As DOJ Secretary, De Lima personally managed and supervised the collection of evidence and filing of cases against the implicated lawmakers.
The Sandiganbayan allowed Napoles file for bail despite being the alleged mastermind of the PDAF scam, is facing other graft and plunder cases. Meanwhile Lanete a two-time congresswoman is charged with plunder and 11 counts of graft for misusing P112.29 million of pork barrel funds from 2007-2009. The two were granted bail for not having strong evidence against them.

The activists shall converge at Plaza Salamanca at the corner of Kalaw and Taft Avenues before marching towards the Department of Justice national office at Padre Faura Street.
