The Foo Fighters are making it official and dispelling all rumors: They are not breaking up. The band confirmed this with an  “Official Band Announcement” video that was released Wednesday.

The Foo Fighters were addressing rumors that circulated recently. A “source” apparently told Page Six that they were planning on “laying low” since David Grohl is set to go solo. “The band is billing it as a ‘break,’ but it’s totally Dave going solo, and Taylor is pissed about it,” the source told Page Six.

A few months back, Taylor Hawkins hinted that they were going on a hiatus in a video interview and referred to this as “I-hate-us,” and this was picked up by news outlets only this week.

In their official announcement, the band took jabs at the rumor mongers and featured Grohl, who supposedly decided to really go solo after his rousing performance at the Oscar’s Sunday. He sang “Blackbird” for the In Memoriam segment, which was well received by viewers.

The band then go on a quest to search for Grohl’s replacement, where they ended up with 98 Degrees Nick Lachey.

Watch the hilarious bit below and keep in mind that the band is really not breaking up:
