Sinead O’ Connor Suicide Scare: Singer Posts Disturbing Message on Facebook – How Is She Doing?

Singer Sinead O’Connor gave her fans and followers a scare on Facebook when she revealed shocking details about her mental anguish and family problems. The 48-year-old Irish artist wrote a long message about how her family betrayed her and revealed that she had an “overdose of pills” as a result.

In the note, Sinead said that her husband, children and the girlfriend of her son has been cruel to her after getting a hysterectomy last August.

“The withholding of my babies from me without any sound reason by their fathers, Frank and Donal, and by Jake and the rest of my family, is a horrific set of betrayals. And has been going on since I had my surgery,” the singer wrote.

Sinead has apparently been posting a series of disturbing messages on her social media account in the past days with regards her custody battle with Donal Lunny, the father of 11-year-old Shane, per New York Daily News.

Following her Facebook message, the singer has apparently received medical attention and is doing fine, per TMZ.

Sinead has four children between the ages of 9 to 28 years old. She has revealed in a past guest appearance on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” that she’s bipolar, but refuted this in 2014, per NY Daily News.

The singer is known for her 90s hit song  “Nothing Compares To You.”
