Following speculations and months of denials that he’s character is done, Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow in the series, has confirmed, the character is still very much a part of the show after all.
Speaking with the Belgian magazine Humo, Harington said, “Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over.”
“I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to ‘Game of Thrones.’ So the show is like a double-edged sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it almost completely consumes me.”
“One thing’s for sure: The day I’m no longer on Thrones is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects.”
Avid followers of the show have long been aware that Harington has been in Belfast in the last few months. The Irish place is where the show does most of its filming, and Harington has been spotted strolling with fellow a”Game of Thrones” actor during filming breaks, according to TMZ.
Speculations are that Jon Snow comes back from the dead and will then lead an army of undead.
“Game of Thrones” will see its return to a new season in April 2016.
