Araceli Santos, the mother of San Miguel Beer star Arwind Santos is now out of danger.
Earlier this week, the mother of Arwind Santos had to be rushed to the hospital when her nose started to bleed profusely.
The game had to be paused for about 10 minutes as medical personnel attended to the Arwind’s mother. She was carried out on a stretcher and into an ambulance which brought her to the World Citi Medical Center in Quezon City.
Arwind eventually transferred her to the Marikina Valley Medical Center because she had existing medical records there already.
Despite the big improvement on Mrs. Araceli Santos health, she remains to be under observation. It has yet to be determined on what caused her nose to bleed although her throat and ulcer are still under observation.
The good news was tweeted by Santos through his Twitter account @arwindsotnas.
Thank you for all your prayers. Her smiling face shows that she's better now. We are going home! Thank you Lord! 🙂 pic.twitter.com/EL6sEuCN0G

Santos had originally wanted to finish the game but eventually decided to attend to her mother. The Beermen bowed to the Talk ‘n Text Tropang Texters, 76-58.
The loss was costly as well for the Beermen as their fate right now depends on the remaining games and the quotient system.
After winning the PBA Philippine Cup over the Alaska Aces, the Beermen had a bad start in the current PBA Commissioners Cup.
