“Pitch Perfect” star Anna Kendrick is leading and executive producing an upcoming series on the new streaming platform HBO Max. “Love Live” is billed as a romantic comedy anthology with director and writer Paul Feig also attached.
From the creators of “Shrek” comes DreamWorks Animation’s “Trolls,” a smart, funny and irreverent comedy about the search for happiness, and just how far some will go to get it. The film transports audiences to a colorful, wondrous world populated by the overly optimistic Trolls, who have a constant dance in their step and a song on their lips, and the comically pessimistic Bergens, who are only happy when they have Trolls in their stomachs. After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy (Anna Kendrick), the happiest Troll ever born, and the overly-cautious, curmudgeonly Branch (Justin Timberlake) set off on a journey to rescue her friends. Their mission is full of adventure and mishaps, as this mismatched duo try to tolerate each other long enough to get the job done.
Having seen both Pitch Perfect twice and the sequel once I feel that it was a combined 6 hours of my life well spent.
Production for “Pitch Perfect 3″ has been delayed due to changes behind the scenes and scheduling conflicts. First slated for an early 2017 release, the movie’s release date was changed quite a few times.
It all started with a Craiglist ad that became viral when real life brothers Mike and Dave Stangle are looking for dates to bring to a wedding – sounds crazy but it really happened. Their story reaches the big screen in the hilarious and aptly titled “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates” starring Anna Kendrick, Zac Efron, Adam Devine and Aubrey Plaza.
DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox’s recent reveal (via Twitter) of the full voice cast for DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls as well as pics showing the actors off with their respective fuzzy-headed onscreen counterparts have followed it up with the latest trailer reveal.
