The spinoff of “24” has a new trailer. “24: Legacy” is set to make its mark on Fox on Super Bowl Sunday on Feb. 5. It will be the first time that the show will not feature the iconic character of Jack Bauer.

Heading “24: Legacy” is Corey Hawkins as Eric Carter. He is a former military operative whose life becomes in danger after a failed high profile mission.

The actor revealed that “24: Legacy” was created for the new generation. “[The] new hero who looks like America today. It’s a bit of a responsibility to do it justice. The things they put on the page, it’s an honor,” he said at the Comic-Con panel in New York, Entertainment Weekly reports.

“24: Legacy” will be bringing back familiar characters, however, such as Tony Almeida, who is played by Carlos Bernard. The appearance is brief but important. It is unclear if Kiefer Sutherland, who plays Jack Bauer, will make his guest bid on the show. The actor is already booked for his new show, “Designated Survivor” on ABC.

Catch the debut of “24: Legacy” on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017 after the Super Bowl on Fox.  Meanwhile, take a look at the new teaser of “24: Legacy” below.
