Jane Doe and Kurt Weller are not going away anytime soon as “Blindspot” just received a renewal to return for Season 2 on NBC.

The series has been this year’s first freshman show to receive additional episode orders and is also the first new show to get a renewal. It has been ranking as the number one new TV show on its timeslot and overall against other new series, with an average rating of 12.7 million and 3.7 on the demographic. The show has been steadily building up its audience with the help of “The Voice,” which serves as its lead-in, per TV Line.

“Blindspot” is a story about a woman who has forgotten everything about her past and only gets some clues on the tattoos on her body with the help of an FBI team, where she’s in their protection and custody. It stars Jaimie Alexander, Sullivan Stapleton, Marianne Jean-Baptiste,  Ashley Johnson, Audrey Esparza and Rob Brown.

This week’s latest episode will have Jane and her buddies at the FBI going to a club to follow up on a case and there they will learn  Jane’s favorite drink before she got amnesia. They also learn Jane has a secret –  she admits she sneaks out from her FBI security to go around the city in a public transportation.
