Cebu restaurant DAVOS opens at Fairfield by Marriott Mactan
A new Cebu restaurant is set to elevate the island’s dining scene as DAVOS officially opened on April 15, 2026 at Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan. Positioned just minutes from Mactan-Cebu International Airport, the all-day dining spot offers travelers and locals an accessible destination for both arrival meals and pre-departure dining.
Inspired by the Cebuano word “dabos,” which means abundance, DAVOS highlights the region’s rich marine resources through a menu that blends Filipino flavors with international influences. The concept reflects a modern take on coastal cuisine, rooted in local ingredients and culinary traditions.

The restaurant is led by Executive Chef Marcel Ramos, whose approach centers on what he calls “Coastal Filipino” cuisine—an interpretation shaped by Cebu’s iconic flavors and balanced by technique and depth.
Coastal Filipino flavors meet modern dining
DAVOS introduces a menu that reimagines familiar dishes while staying grounded in Filipino culinary heritage. Signature offerings include Shrimp Inasal, Crispy Pork Belly, Soy Glazed Grilled Chicken, Beef and Mash, and Ube Burnt Cheesecake.
Each dish is crafted to reflect a balance of savory, acidic, and umami elements, giving diners a refined yet approachable experience. The menu also incorporates international selections, ensuring a diverse range of options for guests with different preferences.
Open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., the restaurant accommodates both hotel guests and walk-in diners, with a seating capacity of up to 87. Its relaxed ambiance and contemporary design make it suitable for casual meals, group gatherings, and business meetups.
Dining experiences and group offerings
Beyond its main menu, the Cebu restaurant offers curated dining experiences such as Beer Hour, featuring unlimited beer cocktails paired with savory pica pica options. Scheduled events include acoustic nights and trivia game sessions, adding an interactive element to the dining experience.
For early risers, a breakfast buffet showcases Filipino and Asian dishes alongside pastries, fruits, and beverages. Lunch and dinner, meanwhile, are served à la carte with a mix of Continental and Mediterranean influences.
Guests looking for quick bites can also visit The Market, a 24/7 grab-and-go section offering sandwiches, salads, pastries, and local snacks. The hotel further caters to private events, providing customizable dining setups for meetings, celebrations, and other occasions.
Located on the fourth floor alongside the hotel lobby, DAVOS combines convenience with a relaxed coastal atmosphere, using cool tones and modern interiors to create an inviting space. The addition of this Cebu restaurant reinforces the area’s growing reputation as a destination for both local and international cuisine.
