Ministry of Sound is bringing its 35-year world tour to Bali, locking in a five-show residency at The Stage that begins on Friday, May 30. The extended run will stretch across June, July, August, and December, marking the brand’s first multi-date takeover on the island.

The globally recognized dance music institution continues to expand its milestone tour after earlier stops in Dubai, Helsinki, and Miami. Bali now becomes the latest destination as the brand taps into Asia’s fast-growing electronic music scene.

The opening night will be headlined by Low Steppa, known for his influence across house, bass, and garage. He will be joined by Monki and Siân Owen, who are set to deliver distinct house-driven performances to kick off the residency.

The five-show series is expected to showcase the brand’s signature sound, blending house, tech house, and deeper club styles. Organizers aim to highlight both established international names and rising talent, reinforcing Ministry of Sound’s evolving musical identity.

Jared McCulloch, Head of Live Events, emphasized the significance of the Bali stop in the broader tour. He noted that collaborating with local venue The Stage and bringing in a mix of respected and emerging artists reflects the core vision of the global celebration.

The residency is being mounted in partnership with Primuse Entertainment, with The Stage serving as the central venue. The indoor space, recently relaunched, is expected to host curated nightlife experiences tailored for Bali’s vibrant clubbing audience.

Bali strengthens role as Asia’s electronic music hub

Founded in London in 1991, Ministry of Sound has played a major role in shaping global dance culture through its club, recordings, and international events. The 35-year world tour represents its most ambitious global rollout to date.

The Bali residency comes at a time when the island is gaining traction as a major electronic music destination in Asia. With international brands and artists increasingly choosing Bali as a tour stop, the partnership signals a growing alignment between global nightlife icons and the region’s audience.
