CEBU CITY — Toyota Motor Philippines brought Coco Martin to Cebu during the Sinulog Festival, blending local tradition with the Next Generation Tamaraw roadshow. The Sinulog weekend offered fans the chance to meet Coco Martin, who embraced the festival’s vibrancy and shared the spirit of faith and perseverance he admires in the Cebuano people. TMP timed his visit to coincide with the Tamaraw roadshow, allowing him to interact with both devotees and Tamaraw customers across Cebu.

The weekend featured a meet-and-greet at Toyota Mabolo showroom, where Coco Martin engaged with Tamaraw customers and the local media. Attendees participated in trivia games, photo opportunities, and even learned Sinulog dance steps with the ambassador. The festival experience reached its peak during the Grand Parade, with Coco riding a Next Generation Toyota Tamaraw float organized by Toyota Team Cebu, delighting street crowds despite changing weather conditions.

The Next Generation Tamaraw, launched in 2024, has become a favorite among micro, small, and medium enterprises, start-ups, and long-time Tamaraw FX users. Several Cebu customers received ceremonial keys to their new Tamaraw FX units from Coco Martin, including business owners highlighting efficiency, cargo security, and passenger safety. TMP also unveiled new color options for the Tamaraw line, including greyish blue metallic and super red for select FX variants, enhancing customer choice.
