Penshoppe expands into activewear with Penshoppe Play launch in March 2026

Penshoppe is broadening its lifestyle portfolio with a new category aimed at everyday movement, marking its first entry into activewear. The brand’s upcoming line, Penshoppe Play, will officially launch in March 2026 and is positioned for people who stay active in their own way, whether through casual workouts, daily errands, or simply being on the move. Rather than performance-driven gear, the collection centers on comfort, ease, and approachability.
To front the campaign, Penshoppe tapped national athletes Kira Ellis and Elijah Cole, both of whom have represented the Philippines in international competition. While accomplished in their respective sports, the brand said the pair were chosen for how naturally movement fits into their daily lives, reflecting the spirit of the new line.
Athletes chosen for authenticity, not performance pressure
Ellis, a national team triathlete, represents balance and consistency, moving seamlessly between training and everyday routines. She said the new collection reflects the freedom to stay active without sacrificing personal style. For her, movement is not limited to competition but is part of daily life.
Cole, a national pole vaulter, brings a more expressive energy to the campaign. He shared that movement has always been personal rather than purely competitive, adding that the line feels designed for real-life use rather than intimidating athletic standards.

Design focused on ease and everyday wear
Penshoppe emphasized that Penshoppe Play was created for people of all activity levels, not exclusively for athletes. Vice President Brandon Liu said the goal was to remove pressure and redefine what being active looks like. According to Liu, the brand wanted to create pieces that encourage movement without expectations or labels.
The debut collection draws inspiration from what people wear before, after, or between training sessions, focusing on relaxed silhouettes and lived-in comfort. After extensive prototyping, the brand landed on designs that prioritize accessibility over technical complexity. Penshoppe Play will be available nationwide and online when it launches in March 2026.
