Setting standards for safe and responsible gaming

Through these partnerships, Buenas PH is highlighting the importance of regulation in online gaming. Atty. Anthony “Tony” Manguiat, President of HHR Philippines Inc., stressed that compliance with PAGCOR ensures proper age checks, KYC procedures, and player protections. “Regulation is not a restriction; it safeguards consumers while keeping gaming entertaining and fair,” he said.

The collaboration also aligns with YGS Live’s mission to foster a community-focused digital gaming environment. Julius “Banoobs” Mariano, founder of YGS Live, noted that the partnership “ensures creators use their influence responsibly, promoting a secure and transparent culture for fans.”

Grand events and community impact

The partnership debuted at the first-ever Battle of the Streamers Grand Finals at City of Dreams Manila. Top Filipino creators competed for a PHP 11-million prize pool, combining high-stakes gameplay with integrity and fairness. Powered by Pragmatic Play and streamed live via Loco Live, the event demonstrated how competitive entertainment can be aligned with ethical standards.

Boss Toyo, one of Buenas PH’s key ambassadors, stressed the educational aspect of the initiative: “It’s better to show what’s legal versus illegal and teach responsible play.” Beyond advocacy, Buenas PH’s charity arm, Buenas Cares, engages audiences through community outreach and social impact programs, strengthening the brand’s commitment to Filipino communities.
