Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how public relations professionals craft and deliver messages. To address these shifts, the Institute of Public Relations of Singapore (IPRS) and Notified, a leading investor relations and PR technology provider, will host a panel discussion on the growing role of AI in transforming data into meaningful audience engagement.

Set for October 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the PSB Academy City Campus in Marina Square, the event will bring together regional industry leaders to examine how PR professionals can leverage AI for sharper, more strategic communication.

How AI is shaping modern PR strategies

The panel will focus on three main areas: how AI transforms raw data into actionable audience dialogue, its role in creating hyper-targeted press releases and personalized campaigns, and effective strategies to amplify corporate messages in an AI-driven landscape.

According to the ICCCO World PR Report, more than 70% of PR professionals already use AI in their daily work. However, as new models and features emerge, a significant gap remains between recognizing AI’s potential and confidently integrating it into strategies.

Expert voices and practical insights

The panel will feature three experts from across the region: Kelly Weber, Head of Communications, APAC at Aquila Clean Energy; Rob van Alphen, Founder and Managing Director of Polaris and contributor to IPRS’s AI Guidance; and Melissa Ang, Strategic Account Director at Notified. Together, they represent a balance of in-house experience, AI consultancy expertise, and vendor perspectives.

Notified’s platform integrates press release distribution, media monitoring, social listening, and measurement. A December 2024 study found that redistributed content through their GlobeNewswire service saw a 33% overall increase in views, with top posts gaining up to 90%.

As the PR landscape evolves, the IPRS–Notified partnership underscores the need for responsible, transparent AI adoption. Rob van Alphen’s work in developing Asia’s first PR industry AI guidance highlights this commitment to practical, ethical technology integration.
