Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the country’s top motorcycle manufacturer, has joined as a sponsor of the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship.

The global tournament will take place from September 12 to 28 in Manila, with matches at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City and Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Coverage will be available on RPTV, One Sports, One Sports HD, and Pilipinas Live.

First world championship in Southeast Asia

This year’s event will mark the first time a men’s volleyball world championship is hosted in Southeast Asia. Organizers expect strong local support as top national teams compete for the title.

Honda is using the partnership to showcase its latest motorcycles, including the All-New PCX160, the All-New Honda NAVi, and the Winner X.

The company staged a kickoff program at SM Mall of Asia Music Hall last August 13. It followed with road tour activities in Cebu, Laoag, and Cagayan de Oro throughout the month.

Honda highlights shared values with volleyball

Honda officials said the sponsorship reflects values of freedom, endurance, and innovation — qualities that mirror the spirit of the championship.

“Honda is honored to be part of this historic moment in Philippine sports,” said Apple Magaling, HPI Motorcycle Planning Department Manager. “Just like the world-class athletes competing in this tournament, we at Honda Philippines are continually striving to inspire and empower the youth with advanced, safe, and innovative mobility solutions.”
