For families, commuters, and long-distance travelers, VinFast just redefined the cost of owning an electric vehicle. Thanks to its partnership with V-GREEN, all VinFast owners in the Philippines will enjoy free charging nationwide until May 1, 2027—a groundbreaking offer that makes EV ownership easier, smarter, and far more affordable.

The initiative covers every V-GREEN-operated charging port in the country and applies to all VinFast models currently available, as well as future releases in the Philippine market.

Free charging means big savings for motorists

With fuel prices still unpredictable, the cost of charging has been one of the biggest concerns for Filipino drivers thinking about switching to EVs. VinFast’s zero-charging-cost offer removes that burden completely, potentially saving drivers the equivalent of years’ worth of fuel expenses.

V-GREEN is set to install up to 15,000 charging ports across the Philippines by 2025, strategically placing them in malls, expressways, commercial hubs, and major city centers. This fast-growing network reduces range anxiety for EV drivers, ensuring convenient charging access from Luzon to Mindanao.

While V-GREEN serves as an independent provider, VinFast customers get exclusive access to this no-cost charging benefit at all participating stations.

Ownership perks backed by government support

On top of free charging, VinFast EV buyers also enjoy some of the longest warranties in the market—up to 10 years or 200,000 kilometers for both vehicle and battery. The brand also guarantees nationwide service and showroom coverage to help first-time EV buyers transition smoothly from traditional cars.

The program aligns with incentives under the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA), which exempts EVs from excise tax and grants perks like priority registration and access to green lanes. Together, public policy and private partnerships are expected to accelerate EV adoption in the next two years.

By lowering ownership costs, expanding charging infrastructure, and supporting climate resilience goals, VinFast positions itself as a major player in the Philippines’ clean mobility future.
