NAQT VANE’s ‘NV’ EP: A bold new era of dark pop with twin vocals and fresh sound
The innovative NAQT VANE has announced the release of their highly anticipated concept EP, “NV”. Known for their distinctive dark pop sound, the band is joined by Yunoa, a rising dark pop sensation, who brings a fresh energy as a twin vocalist alongside Harukaze. With “NV”, the band redefines their sound, introducing a bold twin vocal arrangement and reimagining tracks from their debut full album, “Dispersion”.
The EP kicks off the “NV Series”, a concept that reimagines some of the most impactful tracks from “Dispersion” through a collaborative lens. One of the most anticipated tracks is “FALLOUT”, which gained significant attention as the theme song for the film “That Person Disappeared”. Along with this, the EP introduces two fresh tracks, marking the next chapter in the band’s musical journey.
Among the standout tracks, “Ditty – NV” offers a vibrant and uplifting anthem that will instantly capture your attention. The track is characterized by chant-like voice glazes, intertwining melodies, and rap elements, creating an energy-packed song that motivates and inspires. In addition to the release of “NV”, NAQT VANE has kicked off their “NAQT VANE Prologue Tour 2025 – DUOVERSE ep.1”, which began on 16 February 2025 in Sapporo. The tour will visit four cities and include eight performances. The performances symbolically represent the sun and the moon, reflecting the contrasting personalities of the duo, Harukaze and Yunoa. Fans will experience different setlists and stage productions for the day and night shows, adding a unique dynamic to the live experience. As part of the tour, the duo has also released two new songs, “C” and “O”, which add even more depth to “NV”.
