A More Efficient 911 System for Mambajao

With the newly launched system, all 911 calls in Mambajao are now directly routed to the emergency command center, where data dashboards provide real-time insights to help responders make faster and more informed decisions.

The automated incident ticketing system, also introduced this month, streamlines emergency response by:

  • Reducing response times
  • Improving operational efficiency
  • Minimizing human error

Next-Gen 911 Features Coming Soon

Mambajao’s 911 system will continue to expand, integrating more advanced capabilities in the coming months, including:

  • Caller location tracking for pinpoint-accurate response
  • Photo and video sharing for better situational awareness
  • CCTV interoperability to support law enforcement and emergency teams

Nationwide Push for Emergency Response Upgrades

At the 7th General Assembly of the League of Provinces of the Philippines on February 7, 2025, DILG Secretary Juanito “Jonvic” Remulla urged local governments to fully support the nationwide implementation of 911 systems to ensure faster, more efficient emergency responses.

Cutting-Edge Emergency Technology

Robert Llaguno, Country Head of NGA 911 Philippines, explained that once fully implemented, the 911 system will:

  • Accurately track a caller’s location with a 90% accuracy rate within a 5-yard radius
  • Integrate with local government CCTV systems for real-time monitoring
  • Enable instant messaging features for non-verbal emergency reporting

“E911 technology enhances situational awareness by integrating multiple emergency response systems into a unified platform,” said Francis Fajardo, Executive Director of the E911 National Office.
