As part of BlastTV’s exciting update, two new linear channels—tvN Asia and tvN Movies Pinoy—are launching on the platform, offering Filipino viewers a wide array of Korean content.

With a legacy spanning 25 years, the MAMA Awards are recognized as a trailblazer in K-Pop’s global expansion. The prestigious event has been hosted across major Asian cities, including Macao, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Japan. This year, it elevates its global presence even further, with ceremonies set to take place at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on November 22 (PH Time) and at the Kyocera Dome Osaka, Japan, on November 22-23 (PH Time).

The 2024 MAMA Awards theme, “BIG BLUR: What is Real?,” explores the convergence of industries, culture, music, and technology. Under this futuristic concept, audiences can expect a breathtaking blend of art and technology, delivering surreal yet authentic experiences.

Hosting duties will be split between K-drama favorites Park Bo-gum in Los Angeles and Kim Tae-ri in Japan. The event will feature electrifying performances by K-Pop icons, including SEVENTEEN, BYEON WOO-SEOK, G-DRAGON, ENHYPEN, TREASURE, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, aespa, IVE, and many more!

Nominees announced on October 14 include some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Jungkook and Jimin of BTS, Stray Kids, NewJeans, TWICE, LE SSERAFIM, and Red Velvet.

This year’s awards ceremony continues its mission to redefine the essence of K-Pop, celebrating not just music but also video production, dance, and global competitiveness.
