Globe, MMDA join forces to promote disaster preparedness

Globe has partnered with the MMDA in undertaking the Shake Drill, which aims to cultivate a culture of preparedness for residents of the metropolis for a 7.2 magnitude earthquake.
Aside from providing connectivity tools to MMDA participants, Globe also participated in the drill and 11 of its corporate and technical sites joined the exercise.
Globe also deployed cell site on wheels as well as Libreng Tawag stations in Intramuros, Manila where MMDA activated its Shake Drill Command Center.
